Learner Profile Connection
Respecting differences require students to be reflective. Students are able to think about what they do and say about about what they are learning. They are able to learn from their past mistakes and they are aware of the effect of their words and actions to others. By understanding differences students will be able to treat others with respect and understand how their actions affect others.
To understand and respect differences you need to become knowledgeable about them. We want students to be knowledgeable about differences, prejudices and accepting others. Students know and understand signification content and are able to construct learning through active inquiry.
