Working Together Puzzles
These two worksheets below could be used to get students working together. They are word puzzles that students can work on solving as a group.

This is a game where students write negative words on chart paper cutout then write positive words and talk about the differences words can make.
Bully Comic
This is a packet of comics that show bully situations that students can discuss and edit to make a more positive experience.
Random Questions
This button will take you to a random question generator. This would be great to use as discussion and get the students thinking deeper and relating to each other. Stand Up If
This activity is good to do with a group of students. You have everyone sit down, then you ask a question, like "Stand up if you have a dog." Then all students with a dog stand up. Repeat with many different questions. Students like seeing what they have in common with others. As the game goes on you could use more personal questions "Stand up if you have ever been bullied" or "Stand up if you ever felt like it will never get better." |

Creating a positive classroom environment ties perfectly in with Caring. Students show sensitivity towards the needs and feelings of others and are thoughtful and helpful. By creating a positive environment in our classroom students care for their peers and their teacher.
Creating a positive environment allows students to be communicators. Students engaged will in discussion, manage social interactions and express their own thoughts through verbal and graphic language. Students in a positive classroom are willing to communicate ideas and respect others thoughts, opinions and ideas.
Creating a positive classroom enviroment is also about risk taking. In a positive classroom students are willing to take risks in their learning. Students are receptive to new experiences and are willing to try a new way of doing things. Students who feel comfortable in your class will be able try new things, ask and answers questions without hesitation or fear.
